Where every number on this site comes from.

DatenUS uses official public data. We collect it directly from each source on a schedule and show the date it was last updated on every page. Data from U.S. federal agencies is generally in the public domain. Open data from other publishers is used under the license shown below.

We list all 212 sources: 166 live (we load the data and show the date of the latest update), 12 reference (official sites we link to or use as a lookup table) and 34 collecting soon (sources we are adding; pages that use them appear once the first load finishes).
