Frequently asked questions
- How safe is the Toyota Avalon Hybrid?
- The 2022 Toyota Avalon Hybrid earned 5 stars overall in NHTSA testing, with 4 stars frontal, 5 stars side and 4 stars rollover in its best rated version.
- Why are some years missing ratings?
- NHTSA does not test the Toyota Avalon Hybrid every year. When a model carries over unchanged, the earlier rating usually applies. Ratings from before 2011 used an older, easier test.
