About this dataset

The cultural mapping dataset creates, using existing and publicly-facing geospatial data, an overlay map that highlights where culture, in the form of arts, placemaking, cultural institutions, historic places and other inputs, exist inside neighborhood profile areas (NPA). This data will be used to inform the ongoing work program of the Design and Preservation Division of the city's Planning, Design and Development department and identify potential focus areas for placemaking, public space, public art, and preservation initiatives.
